senior banquet!

Daniel graduates tomorrow! Baccalaureate is tonight! My parents are on there way here as we speak! But, I figured it was time for another post. :)

Last weekend Gordon-Conwell held a lovely banquet for all the graduates at the Marriott Hotel in Peabody. It was a lovely dinner and a lovely time spent with friends. Plus, we got to sit at the same table as Dr. Arthurs (Daniel's preaching professor this past semester) and his wife so that was fun too. :)

By the way! Daniel got a new job. He may write about this later in greater depth, but he will be a Byington Scholar for Dr. Davis (pictured above) next year. I got to meet him at the banquet and then snapped a quick picture of him after our meeting. :)

Unrelated to the banquet, I just think Daniel is a cutie for steaming his shirts.

And, this was taken on Monday the 3rd, the day Daniel turned in his last paper for the semester! We celebrated with sushi that evening. Since then Daniel has been enjoying time to relax and slack off...it has been a while since he has had the time to do that!

Daniel has one semlink still to finish for his MDiv, plus one exegesis class he will take this summer. Then he begins his final year at Gordon-Conwell to get his ThM in theology.
